Every now and then we rescue a kitty who’s story is so special that we want to shout it from the rooftops – and Stevie and Ray are two such kitties!
Incredibly adorable little Russian Blue babies, these brothers are cute and cuddly twins
with beautiful soft blue-grey coats.
Only upon closer inspection will you see that these kittens are
different from other kitties – Ray was born with no sight, and Stevie has just limited sight in one eye.
Although it would seem that a blind cat would have a very sad and difficult life, these little guys prove that nothing could be further from the truth!
These kittens are unaware that they are in any way different from other kitties, and once they become familiar with their surroundings, they act like other kittens with perfect sight! They love to frolic, wrestle and chase each other around, enjoy playing with their many toys, and they LOVE to eat!
They are very aware of their litter box and are experts in its use! If you’ve read the book “Homer’s Odyssey” or viewed “Oskar the Blind Kitten” on You Tube, you will already know that a blind kitty can be a fabulous companion pet, and these boys are more than willing to offer you a double dose of unconditional love!
If you would like to consider giving these special little angels a wonderful life in your happy home, please contact us by email at firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone at (714) 315-8259 and we’ll fill you in on their details and make the introductions. Perhaps you’d be interested in adopting both of these darling siblings! They would be a terrific addition to a compassionate, animal-loving family!)
We are also looking at having these kitties go through a special surgery as their defective eyes need to be removed in order to prevent further complications. The surgery is expensive, and we could use donations in any and all amounts to help offset these costs. You can send donations via PayPal directly to the Fullerton Chapter by paying to CatsInNeedFullerton@yahoo.com
